Description	Maintain and verify defensible procedures for the collection of samples. Properly maintain internal quality control standards. Maintain the procedures and quality assurance needed to for microbiological testing as well as chemical analyses of water. Analysis samples provided by public works staff. Perform calculations write reports, and record lab data in accordance with regulatory requirements and local requests for information. Perform assigned analyses for water and wastewater. Perform sample preparation as appropriate. Includes related activities such as making of stock and working standards, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, etc. Interpret results of assigned analyses, perform calculations and prepare reports. Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in assigned duties.
Pre-Requisites	Employee should have an Associates Degree in water/wastewater technology, or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and training. Desire a Bachelors Degree in Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Employee should have a thorough knowledge of the laboratory procedures and analytical techniques. At Lest 2 years practical experience in similar job , in similar industry
