Public Works Authority (Ashghal) in collaboration with the Department of Traffic and Patrol will be implementing a temporary closure of a part of Nasiriyah Street in Izghawa area, as indicated in the map, during the period from 27/3/2009 to 10/10/2009. This closure comes within the project for completion of roads and related services in the Zone (51), which includes implementation of a dual lane road with total length of about 8 km. The project works also include rainwater disposal, mud works, asphalt pavements, traffic signage and basic amenities works with a total cost of about 162 million Qatar Riyals.

Ashghal calls upon the residents of the area and commuters to use alternative routes during the period of implementation, and regrets any inconvenience caused due to the road closure.
