The works shall consist of the following:

 Carry out regular inspection based on a agreed scheduled programme and repair, rectify and clear damaged components of all types road safety devices, investigate and suggest  locations where safety devices are missing devices or require improvement and reporting for further action. The aim is to keep all safety devices of area updated and free of accident damages throughout contract period consistently.
 
Further, works includes the provision and installation of all materials required for the proper repair, maintenance, update and improve all warning, regulatory and information traffic signs and pedestrian fencing within the specified area.
 
The Contractor shall continuously engage his staff in exploring new / hazardous locations where the road safety measures are absent, lacking or require improvement and report to the Engineer with proposals / designs for improvement.
 
Keep record of all activities, follow-up work and report to the Engineer on an agreed basis.

The duration of the projects is 550 days.
 

The Scope of Services is to be amplified and added to as follows and the Consultant’s attention is drawn to the fact that the following responsibilities, whether explicit or implied in the above PSA Table of Services, shall also include but are not necessarily limited to:
 Site Supervision
The Site Supervision Services to be carried out by the Consultant shall be as stated in Table 12 of the Conditions of Engagement. The Scope of Services is to be amplified and added to as follows and the Consultant’s attention is drawn to the fact that the following responsibilities, whether explicit or implied in the above PSA Table of Services, shall also include but are not necessarily limited to:
1. Monitoring / Inspection of work.
2. Ensuring the Health & Safety requirement is being carried out in compliance with the Contract and the PWA safety requirements.  Safety reports shall be submitted on weekly basis according to the format required by BA and the same to be filled by specialized person at site.
3. Ensuring the Works is being carried out in compliance with the Contracts requirements 
4. Assume and verify the quality of material at site.     
5. Check and approve work, in compliance with the specifications.    
6. Prepare list of outstanding works.     
7. Issue non conformance notice and submit copy to the Project Quantity Surveyor.  
8. Review, co-ordinate and recommend contractor's technical transmittals.   
9. Process and reply to technical queries.     
10. Review and co-ordinate design documents. 
11. Review and study changes to the original design proposed by Contractor and reproduce reports and drawings if required.    
12. Attend progress and technical meetings with contractors and Engineers.  
13. Carry out any duty as delegated by the Project Manager etc.

The works comprises of the supply, delivery and offloading and storing of materials as specified in Section G-Schedule of quantities & Prices of the Tender Document.
The equipments shall be delivered to and offloaded at the Assets Affairs (Operation & Maintenance Dept.) Stores along with maintenance manuals, Warranty and catalogues in original.
All items are to be delivered to the delivery location within Six (6) weeks from the date of receiving the authorised Purchase Order from the Public Works Authority.

Scope of work includes cater, delivery and offloading to ASHGHAL O& M Dept. Salwa Road –Qatar –Doha QTY 3 hydraulic driven submersible 4inch trash pumps and another QTY 3 hydraulic driven submersible 6inch trash pumps and also supply six fully enclosed sound attenuated hydraulic power units for each pump. All the six power units must be mounted on a heavy duty DOT highway trailer and as per specifications given. Also supply of consumables and spare parts for the first 2000 hours running for each pump and power unit as well as supply all accessories and as per given details in the attached.

Note: Pumps, Power units, DOT Highway Trailers, accessories, etc, all must be supplied as per specifications; features given. Also pumps / engines must be supplied as per approved manufacturers lists given. Delivery time must be clearly indicated in your quote.

The work comprises the  Replacement / Upgrading of Sewer Line and the construction of the necessary sewer lines and manholes and related connections at Industrial Area, according to the drawings and the QCS (2007) Standards.

The following is a general outline of the scope of work, however the Contractor shall study  the drawing(s) and visit the site location in order to fully acquaint himself of the conditions,  circumstances, distances, depths, etc in preparation of his Tender which must be fully  inclusive of all aspects of the work up to and including any necessary final reinstatement and  clearing and cleaning of the work areas leaving the site and adjacent areas the same or in a better state than before the works.

The work generally comprises of the following:

(1) Replacement of existing Sewer Line & manholes  in the same trench, for the majority of the works but in small part, the line shall be re-routed / relocate as per drawing and /or per Engineer’s instruction.
(2)  All associated and related civil work as required in connection with the above including road and surface reinstatement, access roads, crossings etc.
(3) Works shall include replacement of existing pipeline in the same trench but the trench width may be increased to suit the new pipe, as per Engineer’s instruction.
The Contractor is responsible to supply install and materials, transport it to site, excavation,  disposal of existing pipe, sand bedding and surround, backfilling, laying and fixing & testing the pipes with the use of sweet water (to be supplied by Tenderer), operation of over pumping if require, etc.

The Contractor is responsible to do the connection between the existing connection lines and the new sewer line without claiming any additional cost.
The above work shall be completed within Twelve  (12) weeks from the date of receipt of RO's or kick-off meeting or access to site whichever is earlier.

1. The scope of services to be provided by the Consultant is defined but not necessarily limited to the   requirements given in the PSA (Schedule A) Table of Services and as supplemented by this Project Brief (see Clause 6).
2. The Consultant shall gather and study all available supporting information and incorporate it as appropriate into the Scope of Services deliverables.
3. The Consultant shall undertake all works necessary to prepare the design as described including preparation of the tender documentation for inviting competitive tenders for construction of road improvement and drainage works in the project area.
4. The Consultant shall undertake additional geotechnical investigation works as required (see Clause 6.2).
5. The Consultant shall undertake all works necessary for preparation & approval of any environmental assessments or conditions which might be required by the Ministry of Environment (MoE). 
6. The Consultant shall undertake :
i)  Concept design options work for the extended catchment areas, preliminary design,
    and
ii) Detailed design of SW/GW drainage within West Muaither area, of the outfall(s) to the receiving Micro Tunnel(s), of attenuation systems and other structures if required. As part of the design works, the Consultant will prepare combined services plans for the project area.
7. The Consultant shall build a hydraulic model and prepare a report of the drainage & outfall system.  The model shall be supplied in hard copy and digitized formats to meet Drainage Department requirements (i.e. model in InfoWorks software will be based on the pipe sizes determined by Rational Method).  Both input data (storm events, runoff coefficients, sub-catchments, attenuation storages, etc) and output data (results) shall be clearly defined so that future modifications and/or additions can be made to the model.
8. The Consultant shall prepare a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) in coordination with staff from Road Design Section to control and minimize disruption to traffic during the construction works (the TMP shall be subject to written approval by Design Department).
9. The Consultant shall undertake all essential works necessary for the Detailed Design of all aspects of West Muaither SW/GW drainage & outfall system, including preparation of the SW/GW drainage part of the Tender Documentation (i.e. Drawings, Bills of Quantities & Specification to the latest QCS). Preparation of the Tender documentation is to be carried out in coordination with the staff from Design Department as the tenders shall be for road improvement works (design documentation already exists) and for drainage works (design to be prepared by this PSA). It is also essential that the works are divided in 8 packages as shown on the Fig. 5 PSA 765/05. This infrastructure project is planned to be tendered in 2 contracts so it will be required that 2 tender and then 2 contracts be prepared. The tender and contract support will be required twice.
10. The Consultant shall participate in answering tender queries (related to SW/GW), undertake evaluation of the Tenders (SW/GW part) and, in coordination with Design Department staff, participate in preparation of the Contract Documents (SW/GW part).

 

Maintenance work for existing Al Karaana lagoons, work comprises but not necessarily limited to make available at the site and operate whenever required covering (24/7) minimum one excavator       (backhoe) of size 329 Dl – KAT or similar and one wheel loader of size 966H – KAT or similar  as required {including fuel (diesel) } , as well as if necessary additional one wheel loader same as above one 20 ton compactor with vibrator ,  3* 6 wheel – trucks ,  which could be increased to 5 trucks, if necessary , to cover any repair or remedial work for minor or major seepage of the water of the outer bund of the said lagoons, work shall include gathering the soil form nearby area , repair and consolidating the bund by adding soil at the sides or other parts of the bund as necessary and compact it to the soil MDD , until to stop the seepage and make the surround area to get dry completely. Work shall also include to make the access road good in case of found damaged by rain and to shift time to time the site office for Municipality lagoon management staff as requested by them . 

The works comprises of the supply, delivery and offloading and storing of materials as specified in Section G-Schedule of quantities & Prices of the Tender Document.

Any Tenders which do not comply with the above and include the accessories not from the above manufacturers will not be considered.

The work comprises of the Construction of sewer manholes and house connections together with the construction of the necessary Inspection Chambers, Shallow Chambers and backdrops to manholes in order to connect into the existing sewer network all as described herein. The works are to be carried out to individual properties or group of properties in various locations through out the Doha and Rayyan area.

The Contractor shall construct, test, commission and maintain the whole of the Works in this Contract.

The following is a general outline of the scope of work, however the Contractor shall visit the site location in order to fully acquaint himself of the conditions, circumstances, distances, depths, etc in preparation of his Tender which must be fully inclusive of all aspects of the work up to and including any necessary final reinstatement and cleaning of the work areas leaving the site and adjacent areas the same or in a better state than before the works.
          
• Refurbishment works of Chlorination Storage room complete as   specified in section G of the Tender document.
The work is to include for all aspects of construction as described above including but not limited to all beddings, backings, etc as necessary, fittings, diversion of flow including expected flow from house connections, traffic control, safety, testing, reinstatement, clearing and cleaning, etc., all in accordance with the QCS and this Specification.
