Roads Projects Department
The Roads Projects Department is responsible for all necessary arrangements for executing its projects, and in particular the following:
- Developing roads projects according to the needs of the State, in co-ordination with authorities concerned.
- Preparing programmes and plans required for road construction works inside cities and rural areas.
- Improving and controlling the quality of specifications and performance of roads projects, in co-ordination with the Quality and Safety Department.
- Preparing documents for road works tenders and payment requests, according to execution stages and contract terms and conditions.
- Supervising the execution of contracts for road construction inside cities and rural areas, according to approved specifications, while reducing negative effects on road users.
- Solving problems relating to the design or execution of road projects, in co-ordination with the concerned authorities.
