The Roads Design Department is concerned with all the necessary arrangements for the design of roads and drainage systems, and in particular the following:
The development and adoption of engineering designs and technical specifications for projects of roads, tunnels and bridges.
Participation in the preparation of tenders for the designs of roads, tunnels and bridges projects.
Working to solve design problems that arise during project execution.
Preparing, issuing, developing and updating references for specifications and designs related to infrastructure projects, in co-ordination with the concerned authorities.
