As part of Ashghal’s works to enhance traffic signals at main intersections, the traffic signals at the intersection of the Wholesale Market Street with E-Ring Road will be replaced.
In order to complete these works, the intersection will be closed for traffic for 7 hours starting at 3am on Friday 19th of September until 10am of the same day, and the part of the E-Ring Road stretching from Mesaimeer interchange, known as Al Obaidly roundabout, until the intersection of Wholesale Market with the E-Ring Road will be closed for this period in one direction only.
Road users coming from Mesaimeer interchange and heading onto E-Ring Road can use Rawdat Al Khail Street then turn left onto D-Ring Road as shown in the
attached map.
Road users who would like to go from Mesaimeer interchange to Fareej Al Ali area can take Rawdat Al Khail Street then turn left onto Ahmed Bin Zaidoun Street and navigate the area using the local roads.
Road users coming from E-Ring and want to continue straight towards Mesaimeer interchange can take a right at the intersection towards the roundabout known as Woqood roundabout to make a U-turn and continue on E-Ring towards Mesaimeer interchange as shown in the
attached map.
