The Public Works Authority, 'Ashghal' announced that a temporary closure will be implemented on one traffic lane of Najma Street for a period of 90 days starting Tuesday 31 March. The closure will be between the intersection of Najma Street with Al Hilal and Abha streets and the intersection of Najma Street with Ibn Shuaib and Nawfal bin Al Hareth streets.
Motorists driving on Al Hilal Street towards Najma Street must use the second lane of Najma Street which will remain open throughout the works period.
Meanwhile, road users coming from Al Mansoora street towards Al Hilal and Abha streets must first make a right on Nawfal bin Al Hareth Street (870) then make a left on Salim bin Al Hareth Street, and finally make another left to reach Abha Street.
Ashghal will also close the Bin al Hareth Street (990) as part of the development works and vehicles coming from Al Hilal Street must make a right before they reach Bin Al Hareth Street and take the open lanes to reach their destination.
Ashghal is implementing this closure as part of the works to develop the existing sewerage network within Najma area.
