The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a 2 days closure on parts of Bani Hajer Interchange, where the traffic flow from Al Rayyan and Dukhan to Bani Hajer will be changed, starting 24 April (Midnight) to 26 April 2020 (6am) and the traffic flow from Bani Hajer to Al Rayyan and Doha will be changed starting 1 May (Midnight) to Sunday 3 May 2020 (6am), to enable the asphalt works, as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.

During this traffic change which is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the traffic flow from Al Shahama Street and Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Road will be directed to Al Wajba Interchange and Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange to reach their destinations.

From Al Rayyan and Dukhan to Bani Hajer
Road users on Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Road and Dukhan Road heading towards Bani Hajer will have to make a U-turn on Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange and then exit right towards Bani Hajer

From Bani Hajer to Al Rayyan and Doha
Road users on Al Shahama Street heading towards Al Rayyan or Doha will have to make a U-Turn on Al Wajba Interchange and then continue on Dukhan Road towards Doha or take second exit on Dukhan Road towards Al Rayyan The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requests all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.​​​​​​​
