The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the closure of the Tilted Intersection tunnel in both directions at night for 5 hours (from midnight to 5am) over 3 days starting Friday midnight 21 February 2020 until Sunday 23 February 2020, to enable the installation of the gantries, as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.
During this traffic change which is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users of the tunnel in the direction of Al Gharrafa or Al Rayyan will be able to use to the signalized Tilted Intersection to reach their destination, as shown on the above map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requests all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
