The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the closure of the temporary access at Mesaimeer Interchange, for the traffic heading from Doha Expressway and Rawdat Al khail Street towards Al Wakra and Al Weteyyat Interchange on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor permanently, starting from Wednesday night, November 13th 2019.

This closure is designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic to enable the works at Mesaimeer Interchange, where the traffic will be diverted to the next traffic light signals located under Mesaimeer Bridge on the Industrial Area Road.

Besides, as shown on the map below, the road users heading towards Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor can use the Industrial Area Road and then make a U-turn on the traffic light signals under Mesaimeer Bridge to reach their destination.

Commuters heading for Al Wakra can go left at the traffic light signals under Mesaimeer Bridge and then use Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and finally take the right turn at Al Weteyyat Interchange to reach their destination.

On the other hand, road users going to Civil Defence, Lekhwaya, Qatar Meteorology and Qatar Sewage Treatment Center can use the light signal under Mesaimeer Bridge as well and U-turn to reach safely their destination.

Finally, Ashghal will use the appropriate signs to guide the road users on this closure, and advise them to follow the speed limit to maintain their safety.
