The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' announces a closure on 1.5km of Rawdat Al Naisar Street in both directions between Street 1 next to Woqod Petrol Station, and Street 70, starting Tuesday, 5 May 2020.
In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this closure will be implemented for a period of 3 months, to allow for the completion of the infrastructure and road improvement works as part of the Road Improvement Works in Umm Al Dome and Muaither Area which aims at enhancing the traffic flow and alleviating the congestion in the area.
During this time, users of Rawdat Al Naisar Street coming from Jassim bin Ali Street, will be required to turn right towards Street 1 then left towards Al Farsha Street to reach their destinations. Similarly, road users coming in the opposite direction will be required to turn left towards Street 70 then right to get on Al Farsha Street, as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary diversion. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
