​The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary diversion on Huwar Street where the exit ramp leading to the Tilted Interchange will be closed daily for five hours from midnight until 5am, starting 29 November until 20 December 2019, to enable the landscape works, as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.

During this traffic change which is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users on Huwar Street will be directed to Sheikh Faisal roundabout to reach their destinations, while the traffic on the new Tilted tunnel will remain open in both directions, as shown on the attached map.

From Al Rayyan to Doha or Dukhan

Road users coming from Al Rayyan heading towards Doha or Dukhan on Huwar Street will have to continue straight on the Tilted Interchange Underpass towards Sheikh Faisal Roundabout, make a U-Turn and then continue on Al Gharrafa Street towards the signalized Tilted roundabout and then go right towards Dukan or take the 3rd exit (left) towards Doha.

From Al Rayyan to Thani Bin Jassim Street

Road users coming from Al Rayyan heading towards Thani Bin Jassim Street on Huwar Street will have to continue straight on the Tilted Interchange Underpass towards Sheikh Faisal Roundabout, make a U-Turn and then continue on Al Gharrafa Street.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requests all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
