The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the opening of the service road and access leading to Sidra medical and QNCC for the road users coming from the Tilted Intersection on Friday 13/03/2020 in coordination with General Directorate of Traffic, as part of Khalifa Avenue project, which will improve the traffic flow on the intersection.

Road users will have to take the second exit towards the service road instead of going straight on the main intersection road to access the hospital and QNCC.

10-hour closure on Bani Hajer Bridge
Ashghal will implement a temporary closure on Bani Hajer Bridge at night for 10  hours (from midnight to 10am) over 2 days, Friday 13 and 20 March 2020, for the traffic coming from Al Rayyan towards Dukhan to enable the gantries installation as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.

During this traffic change which is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users on Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Road heading towards Dukhan will be able to use Bani Hajer Underpass to reach Al Shahama Street where they can make a U-Turn and then take the exit towards Dukhan, as shown on the attached map.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requests all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
