The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces traffic closure on one lane of Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya Street beginning from Al Rufaa Intersection towards Al Meena Intersection, along with the closure of one lane of Museum Street beginning from the roundabout known as Museum Roundabout towards Slata Intersection (Al Muthaf). This diversion, implemented in coordination with the Traffic Department, shall come into effect from Saturday, 25th July 2020 and will last for a period of six months, in order to facilitate implementation of infrastructure development and beautification works on Ali Bin Omar Al Attiya Street and Al Muthaf Street, within the project of Doha Central Development and Beautification - Package Two.

During this closure, traffic will be diverted to the other side of the street, which will be divided into dual carriageway two lanes, with provision of accesses to residential areas and commercial facilities throughout the project implementation period.

While ensuring installation of proper road signage to alert commuters on this temporary traffic diversion, Ashghal calls on all road users to adhere to the speed limits and to follow road signage to ensure safety of all.
