Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces temporary closure of one lane north bound Al Shamal Road at Al Gharrafa Bridge (known as Immigration Bridge). The closures aims to carry out emergency repairs on the bridge and it is implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During the closure, the number of lanes on Al Gharrafa Bridge will be reduced from three to two lanes for those heading from Doha to the North using 22 February Street.
Ashghal advises all road users to use the alternative routes to avoid congestion that might be witnesses at Al Gharrafa Interchange, as shown in the attached map.
Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
