Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will implement a temporary closure on the
Medical City
Intersection (AKA Bin Omran Intersection), on the main lanes of the four sides of the
intersection, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. The
closure will last for
13 hours only from Thursday Midnight, 21 March to Friday noon, 22
March.
During this period, traffic
heading to Medical
City Intersection
from its four sides can turn right only and use the next intersection, as shown
on the attached map.
This temporary closure
aims to complete the installation of new traffic signal utilities in Medical
City Intersection, as part of the development works implemented on
intersections and roundabouts in various areas of Doha, which aim to enhance
the flow of traffic and reduce congestion in vital areas.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the
closure and requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
