​The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will implement a temporary closure on some lanes of Al Corniche Street and Al Rumaila Area, starting the evening of 4 April 2019 for one month in coordination with the General Directorate of traffic. The closure aims to complete connecting the new Treated Sewage Effluent line with the old one as part of the improvement works for roundabouts and junctions in various areas of Greater Doha.
150 metres will be closed from one of the lanes dedicated for the left turn at the Qatar National Theatre Intersection heading from Al Corniche Street to Mohammed Bin Thani Street.

Also, 300 meters of the left lane of Al Bidda Street (known as Majliss Al Taawon Street) will be closed, this is located directly after Wadi Al Sail Intersection towards Al Diwan Al Amiri.

In addition, 200 meters will be closed from one of the lanes turning left at Wadi Al Sail Intersection, from Mohammed Bin Thani Street to Al Bidda Street. As shown in the attached map.

Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit (50 km/hour), and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
