The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary full closure of Al Khaleej Street and the underpass at the Gulf Interchange in both directions, in the section between Wadi Musheireb Interchange and Gulf Interchange. In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this closure will be implemented on Thursday 20 August 2020 until Sunday 23 August 2020 to enable the completion of the wearing course, as part of the B-Ring Road Development Project.
During this time, road users will be required to use Ibn Mahmoud Street and Al Diwan Street, parallel to Al Khaleej Street, to reach their destinations.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
