The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary closure on 4 kms on Al Luqta Street main road for 10 hours, in both directions from the Tilted Interchange to Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange, from 1:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday 7 February 2020 to enable the finishing of the asphalt works, as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.
During this traffic change which is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users will be able to use Al Luqta Street service roads to reach their destinations, as shown on the above attached.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requests all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
