The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces implementation of a traffic diversion at Dar Al Kutub Intersection, starting from the morning of Friday, November 13, 2020, for a period of one month. This diversion implemented in coordination with Traffic Department is within the works of the project for temporary improvement works on A Ring Road.
During the diversion period, the temporary roundabout at Dar Al Kutub will be dismantled and alternate dual carriage three lanes will be provided between the temporary Grand Hamad Roundabout to Al Rufaa Intersection, known as Sana Intersection.
Hence, commuters towards Jabor bin Muhammad Street from Tariq Ibn Ziad Street and vice versa will have to turn right at Dar Al Kutub intersection and take turns from the temporary Grand Hamad Roundabout or Al Rufaa Intersection to reach their destination.
While ensuring installation of proper traffic signage to alert road users on this traffic change, Ashghal requests all road users to adhere to the permitted speed limits and follow the traffic signages to ensure safety of all.
