The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, announces a traffic diversion in both directions along 2.5 kilometres of East Industrial Street Extension between East Street 33 Interchange on Industrial Area Road and Aba Al Seleel Interchange on G Ring Road.
The diversion, which is designed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic, will be implemented on Friday 3 May 2019 and will be in place for 3 months, to facilitate the completion of road works on East Industrial Street Extension.
During this time, traffic coming and heading to Streets 41, 47 and 52 will be diverted to Al Kassarat Street via the intersection known as Al Kassarat intersection. Simultaneously, traffic coming and heading to G Ring Road will be diverted to Umm Al Seneem Street while traffic coming from Streets 41, 47 and 52 and heading to G Ring Road will be diverted to Al Kassarat Street via Aba Al Seleel Interchange, as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
