The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary traffic shift on Al Gondole, Al Samriya, Al Adaid and Al Betra Streets in West Bay Area, where traffic will be shifted to opposite lanes, which will be converted from two lanes in each direction to one lane in each direction.
In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this traffic change will be implemented on Wednesday 18 March 2020 for a period of five months, as part of the first phase of the upgrading works on some streets in West Bay Area project.
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
