Two-month partial closure at Faleh Bin Nasser Intersection to and from Al Waab via Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a partial closure of Faleh Bin Nasser Intersection through Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor on Salwa Road to traffic leading to and from Al Waab and the right turn from Haloul Intersection on Salwa Road, while keeping open the right turns from Al Waab to Salwa Road and from Salwa Road to Haloul Intersection as well as the U-turns. The closure starts Sunday 05 April 2020 and lasts for two months to continue the works of the cable-stayed bridge as part of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor.

During this partial closure, designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users will be required to use the alternative routes.

Road users coming from Haloul Intersection on Sabah Al Ahmed Corridor towards Al Waab and Salwa Road can take right turn at Ibn Jama Street to reach Salwa Road, then U-Turn at Al Asiri Interachange and continue straight then take right turn to Ahmed bin Taymiya Street to reach Al Waab.

Road users coming from Al Waab towards Al Doha through Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor can take left to Ahmed Bin Taymiya Street to reach Salwa Road then U-turn through Faleh Bin Nasser Intersection to reach their destinations. The Public works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
