The hospital is built on the land area of 303.533 m2. The hospital is located south of Al Wakra and serves the area of Mesaieed to Al Wakra, Al-Wekir and south of Doha, facilitating the provision of medical services to the people in these areas and it contributes in reducing the traffic on Hamad General Hospital. The hospital, which has 321 beds serves all medical specialties, outpatient clinics, and emergency department for adults, pediatrics, maternity and renal dialysis.
The project consists of:
1. The main building of the hospital consisting:
Basement used for hospital services (kitchen and staff cafeteria, CSSD, Laundry and main pharmacy store).
Ground floor containing a reception, outpatient clinics, patient admission, medical record, administration, education center, visitor’s cafeteria, outpatient pharmacy outlet and physiotherapy.
Five continuous floors allocated to different hospital wards (Inpatient).
In level 1 the radiology department, the emergency department, the maternity department, the operation theaters, endoscopy and ICU department.
2. Multi-story Car parking:
Ground and 4 floors can accommodate 650 cars for staff use. It also provides 1000 shaded car parks for the visitors and patient use.
The hospital management department and the engineering facility are located under the car park in the basement level.
