The Engineer has been appointed by the Authority to act on its behalf and shall be responsible for the overall management of the Project.
The Engineer shall act as the primary point of contact with the Consultant for the purposes of administration and management of the Agreement.
All activities and decisions of the Consultant relating to the Project shall be subject to review by the Engineer.
The Consultant shall:
a) provide complete and comprehensive professional services as outlined in this agreement;
b) perform its services consistent with professional skill and care to provide for the level of quality required in the agreement;
c) Perform its services as expeditiously as possible and as required to meet the schedule requirements of the agreement.
d) manage and coordinate the activities of its team members, including all required specialists, as required to meet the agreement;
e) conform and comply with all provisions set forth in the agreement; and
f) conform and comply with all codes, guidelines and standards as described in the Project Brief and as required by the agreement.
The extent of the Services required are generally described as follows:
a) Design Validation;
b) Commercial Management;
c) Project Management / Project Administration; and
d) Construction Administration and Supervision.
e) The Consultant shall provide these services for all disciplines throughout the duration of the Project. The Project stages are defined as follows:
i. Mobilisation;
ii. Design Validation and Construction Supervision; and
iii. Construction Maintenance Period
and any other Services as may be set forth or reasonably inferable from the appointment documents necessary to achieve the successful completion of the components within the Scope of Services.
