Drainage Network Operation and Maintenance Department of Assets Affairs of Public Works Authority (DNO&MD), requires a Contractor to supply and install barcoded asset tags (Works) on pumping station assets in Qatar. Asset tagging supports effective tracking of operation and maintenance activities on each and every asset; thereby aiding in the creation of a history of repair, asset failure, and data collection. This information is used for asset planning activities, maintenance planning and investment level life cycle costing throughout the asset base. The benefits reaped from data collection, analysis and sharing allow the Pumping Stations’ Engineers to make informed decisions on maintaining, repairing and rehabilitating of the assets and track asset whereabouts; thereby, making the DNO&MD department more efficient.
