The Works shall include the provision, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of
Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) on Salwa Highway and Dukhan Highway, the
upgrade of the control room and equipment room of the existing Traffic Control Centre Building on Salwa Road and the integration of the ATMS on both roads with the existing Traffic Control Centre Building on Salwa Road.
The aim is to have a Centralized Control Room for both Highways in order to Monitor the
Operations on Both Highways and aid in the Maintenance of Both Highways.
The duration of the Project includes 270 days for Implementation. This will be followed by a
Defect Liability Maintenance Period of 400 days of Consecutive Calendar Days of ATMS System Operation.
The actual quantities for whole of the Works are subject to remeasurement in accordance with
Sub Clauses 55.1 and 55.2 of the Particular Conditions of Contract.
The Contractor shall construct, test, commission and maintain the whole of the Works in this
Contract within the contract period.
