Brief Description:

The works comprise the repair and upgrading of Industrial Area Lagoons to avoid any collapsing or failure to it and to increase its capacity to accommodate the increase of the flow pumping to it for a period of time. Mobilization & preparatory works shall be agreed with the Engineer’s Representative prior to start of the works. The scope of works are as follows: •A new Bund with the use of imported filling if available materials is insufficient for the works. The materials to compact it up to maximum dry density. Top width of the Bund is minimum 3 meter and bottom width a slope angle of 45 degree. Average height of the Bund is 3.60 meter and approx. length 150 Linear Meter. •Earth work to upgrade the existing TSE Bund, including but not necessary limited to, construct the soil bund/embankment support in layers not exceeding 250mm with the use of imported filling materials if available materials is not sufficient for the work. The materials to compact it up to its MDD. Top width of the bund is 3 meter and side slope angle of 45 degree, the top level of the bund shall be 8.5 QND maximum, the top width is 3.50 meter with an average height of the Bund is 3.60 meter and approx. length 1300 Linear Meter. •Supply, fixing and test of 1.50mm thick HDPE liner membrance on top of the well compacted smooth surface with ends to be held by concrete class 30N SRC with size 500mm x 500mm on inner side of outer periphery of lagoon and approx. 1450 Linear Meter. The actual quantities for whole of the Works are subject to remeasurement in accordance with Sub Clauses 55.1 and 55.2 of the Particular Conditions of Contract. The Contractor shall construct, test, commission and maintain the whole of the Works in this Contract within the contract period. The time for completing the works shall be within 90 days.
