A section of Al Qurtubi Street heading to Onaiza Street near Qatar Bowling Centre will be closed for a month starting Saturday June 8th, the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ said today.
The Authority said the closure was part of the improvement works of the Doha and Rayyan sewage network. It added that traffic will be diverted to an alternate road during the temporary closure (
as per the attached map).
Ashghal will improve the condition of the existing alternate road before diverting traffic, to ensure safety of the road users.
Diverting traffic away from the main construction works on Al Qurtubi Street will ensure smooth traffic flow around the area.
