The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ has announced that a traffic diversion will be in place on Lehwaila Link Road, located 200m east of Lehwaila interchange (Interchange 66) on the North Road in Madinat Al Kaaban. The diversion will begin on Saturday, 31st of January 2015, and will be in place for 6 months.
This temporary diversion is required to carry out construction works of two bridges over Lehwaila link road which form part the Lehwaila interchange 66 construction works as part of the ongoing project to improve the North road.
Lehwaila link road will be reduced from two lanes to one lane in each direction, and the traffic will be diverted around the construction area, as shown in the attached map.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their users safety.
