In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it has temporarily opened one lane in each direction on the North Canal Crossing to traffic coming from and to Lusail City. Starting from today Sunday 9th October to Monday morning 17th October, as shown in the attached map.
The lane was opened temporarily to be used during the periods of closure on the existing Temporary Lusail Road. Road users can use this temporarily open lane to reach areas of Lagoona Mall, Grand Hyatt Hotel and Legtaifiya area through Lusail City, whereas the entrance of these areas will be closed during some periods over this week in as part of hosting UCI Road World Championships Doha 2016.
