The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a shift of traffic on Museum of Islamic Art Intersection starting Saturday 6 Feb 2021 for 8 months, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. The closure aims to allow the implementation of infrastructure development works as part of the Doha central Development and Beautification Projects - Package 2.
During this period, the exit from Jabr bin Mohamed St to Corniche St will be closed. Road users can turn left onto Abdullah bin Jassim St then right at intersection known as Grand Hamad St Inter. to reach Corniche St. The exit leading from Corniche St to Jabr bin Mohamed Street will also be modified.
The Public Works Authority will install sufficient road signage to alert road users with this closure. In order to ensure safety of all, commutes need to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
