The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary partial closure for two lanes on Al Jamiaa Street, for 550 metres from Al Khafji Intersection towards the known as Omar Al Mokhtar Intersection, while keeping one lane open for traffic, as shown in the attached map.
The temporary closure starts on Thursday 28 October and lasts until 18 November 2021, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, and aims to allow excavation works to develop sewage and storm water networks in the area.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit along the diversion routes and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
