Information System Department   
 
The Information System ‚ÄčDepartment is responsible for performing the following tasks:
 
  • Preparation of plans and policies for using computers for the Authority's operations and following up on implementation.
  • Programming, storing and retrieving information and data necessary for the activities of the Authority.
  • Provision and maintenance of hardware, software and networking systems needed by the Authority, in co-ordination with the relevant administrative units.
  • Design, operation and management of databases and information of various kinds.
  • Providing necessary technical support to network users inside the Authority, and training staff on the use of systems, software, computers and accessories.
  • Creating, monitoring and updating the Ashghal website on international information networks.
