Quality & Safety Department
The department’s role in brief is as follows:
  • Ensure the conformity of the ​projects to the specifications and technical stan​dards adopted, and submit periodic reports thereon.
  • Develop an integrated system of quality, safety and monitor its implementation, in coordination with various departments at the Authority.
  • Equip and manage the laboratory needed by the Authority to achieve its purposes.
  • Conduct technical research related to Ashghal’s functions.
  • Develop health and safety standards for all the projects of the Authority.
  • Take action to ensure safety of the Authority's staff.
  • Follow-up contingency plans for projects in co-ordination with the competent authorities.
  • Work to reduce emissions that affect the environment, in co-ordination with specialised entities.​​​
