Quality & Safety Department

The department’s role in brief is as follows:

Ensure the conformity of the projects to the specifications and technical standards adopted, and submit periodic reports thereon.
Develop an integrated system of quality, safety and monitor its implementation, in coordination with various departments at the Authority.
Equip and manage the laboratory needed by the Authority to achieve its purposes.
Conduct technical research related to Ashghal’s functions.
Develop health and safety standards for all the projects of the Authority.
Take action to ensure safety of the Authority's staff.
Follow-up contingency plans for projects in co-ordination with the competent authorities.
Work to reduce emissions that affect the environment, in co-ordination with specialised entities.
