The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ today launched its new website and Contact Centre, and revealed its new corporate identity in a step that aims to enhance communication and provide high quality service to all customers including citizens and residents of Qatar.
Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Eng. Nasser bin Ali Al Mawlawi, President of Ashghal, said that while Ashghal’s Corporate Strategy 2011-2016 paves the way for the organisation’s future success, the Authority has the responsibility of building and developing a comprehensive infrastructure including roads, drainage and public buildings, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The last 2 years have witnessed the commencement of work on a number of major projects and the launch of Ashghal’s key infrastructure programmes to develop local roads and drainage and deliver public buildings worth more than QR 100 million to be delivered over the next 5 – 7 years. In addition, the Authority has launched a variety of corporate initiatives that help streamline the business process and increase efficiency.

This theme is coming to life through the launch of our new Contact Centre, our new website, and our new corporate identity which is inspired by Ashghal’s vision, mission and strategy.” H.E. Eng. Al Mawlawi added.
The new contact centre represents a milestone in Ashghal’s development and its direction to offer high quality service to all its customers. The centre provides customer service around the clock, seven days a week, as a one-point contact for all Ashghal services and enquiries. In addition to many other effective communication channels, the centre is equipped with all requirements and an experienced, trained staff to ensure smooth business and quality services.
The new Ashghal website is more user friendly and more informational, featuring up to date and accurate information. This is in addition to many interactive features that aim to improve the user’s experience when interacting with Ashghal through dedicated complaints handling, feedback, suggestion and other segments. In light of those initiatives that represent change and real development in the way Ashghal communicates with its customers and stakeholders, Ashghal has announced the launch of its new corporate identity, which reflects Ashghal as an entity grounded in heritage and tradition. The new identity is inspired by Ashghal’s slogan “Qatar Deserves The Best” which is the torch that lights Ashghal’s way to the future.
