The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announced that one lane in each direction will be closed on the East Industrial Road leading to Salwa Road (Approximately 200 meters), as shown in
the attached map.The closure will start from Wednesday 28th of January 2015 for a period of 80 days.
The three remaining lanes on the East Industrial Road in addition to the service roads will remain open during the construction period.
The purpose of this closure is to provide space for the construction works of a pedestrian bridge project opposite street number 1 of the industrial area.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their users safety.
