The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary closure of all lanes on Al Amir Street en-route from North (after Al Rayyan Interchange) to Al Asiri Interchange, during early hours from 1:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Friday 14 December and from 12:00 AM to 05:00 AM on Saturday 15 December 2018.
Ashghal is implementing this closure in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic in an aim to complete installation of road signs on this vital route. During the closure, traffic heading from North towards south areas shall be diverted temporarily through the service road and alternative routes, as illustrated in the map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the changes on the road. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
