The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will implement a temporary closure at the Industrial Area Roundabout 1 in Al Khor, located between the Industrial Area Street and Khattaf Street, where one lane will be closed while the other lane will be kept open in all directions of the roundabout, as shown on the attached Map.
The closure will last for a 1 month, starting from Saturday 12 January 2019, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
The temporary closure is required to enable the works of laying TSE pipe as part of design, build, operation and maintenance of Al Dhakhira Sewage Treatment Works, Transfer Pumping Station and Associated Pipelines.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit (50 km/hour), and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
