The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, announces a temporary change to the access to Al Shamal road from Al Khafji street that will be implemented on Thursday 16 January 2020 to allow reconstruction of Al Duhail Interchange.
The proposed change has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will remain in place for 3 months.
The access to Al Shamal road and adjacent areas will be through the Arab League Street then Al Tarfa street or through Al Duhail street.

Road users coming from Jelaiah Intersection on Al Khafji Street towards Al Shamal Road are advised to use the Arab League Street then AL Tarfa Street.
Road users coming from Environment Street towards Al-Shamal road are advised to use the Al-Duhail Street.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 80 kph along the route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
