The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a traffic diversion at Al Shehaimiya Intersection on Mesaimeer Road on Thursday midnight 28 February 2019 for one year, to facilitate the upgrade of Mesaimeer Road, which is part of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor Project.
During the diversion, which is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, traffic coming from Al Shehaimiya Street to continue westbound towards Bu Hamour to Mesaimeer Interchange will be closed. As shown in the attached map.
Road users will be required to take right exit at Al Sheehemiya Intersection and continue straight on at Heenat Al Meashab Intersection, and make a U-turn to Bu Hamour Street or Mesaimeer Interchange.
The Public works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change. Ashghal requests all road users to abide the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
