The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a traffic diversion on part of Zekreet Street in Al Kharaitiyat area, in the direction towards Doha, where traffic will be shifted to opposite lanes and converted from two lanes in each direction to one lane in each direction.
In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this traffic change will be implemented on Sunday 15 March 2020 for a period of 6 months, to enable upgrading works on Zekreet Street as part of Roads and Infrastructure in Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa Project - Package 4.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary diversion. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
