The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’ will be closing the access from Al Rayyan to Doha at Bani Hajer Interchange for two days starting on Friday 05 October 2018 to allow the completion of asphalt works at the interchange.
The proposed access closure has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
As shown on the attached map, road users can follow the following directions:
From Al Rayyan to Doha
Road users coming from Al Rayyan heading towards Doha will have to use Bani Hajer Underpass, make a U-turn at Al Shahama traffic light and continue straight on Al Shahama Street, then drive through loop 2 towards Doha.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 50kph along the route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
