Brief description

The project includes designing, constructing, and operating a surgery extension, which is considered to be an engineering dream as it is going to be the first surgery building to be constructed in Qatar and equipped with all the medical and pragmatic needs that abide by best in class international standards. The extension includes 20 new operation theatres Trauma Intensive Care Unit (TICU), Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Pre-operative Units (Pre-op), an Interventional Imaging Department and associated energy and services. It also includes a helipad connected to the operation theatres and intensive care units, car park that accommodates 800 cars, and an energy and services centre.

The building will be equipped with machines and systems of contemporary high technology, which are used for the first time in operation theatres such as the possibility of radiographing during the operation to ensure the success of the surgical intervention, and reduce complications.
