The project includes:
1.Construction of an in-house designed 40m deep foul sewage pumping station – PS 70 and associated triple 1600mm diameter DI pumping mains discharging to the new Doha North STW.
2.In brief the component works include:
• Screen chamber 40m deep by 22m internal diameter
• Lifting pumping station, 40m deep by 40m internal diameter, housing 8nr duty fixed speed dry well pumps rated at 1,316 l/sec each
• Forwarding pumping station located at ground level, housing 8 nr duty variable speed pumps rated at 1,316 l/sec each
•Motor control rooms
• HV and Generator buildings
• Administration building
• Workshop and Store buildings
•Odor control facility
