Ashghal - Public Works Authority (PWA) – Building Affairs, Qatar, wishes to prequalify Grade A consultants, with relevant and recent experience in the construction and delivery of large scale energy centre facilities, for invitation to tender for the post contract consultancy services for the energy centre and car park on plot Q at Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City.
The PWA is seeking expressions of interest in the first instance from applicants wishing to be prequalified to bid for the post contract professional consultancy work of the above project. At prequalification stage the applicant shall demonstrate relevant experience, capabilities, understanding and commitment to working with the PWA to deliver the expected standard of services and achieve the project objectives.
The energy centre and car park on plot Q, will provide a super primary sub-station (220KV/66KV/11KV of electrical power), district cooling plant (40,000 TR cooling loads) and multi-storey car park over 66,000m2 with basement, ground, mezzanine and three upper floors. Once an Expression of Interest has been received from interested companies, the PWA will issue the Prequalification document.
