Description

The Project The project covers an approximate total area of 153 Hectares. The project aims to enhance the area by developing the road infrastructure including kerbing, lighting, footways, and improving surface and foul water drainage. The construction works include, but are not limited, to the following: a. Traffic management b. Site clearance, including removal of spoil and removal of temporary structures c. Advance diversions and other utility works. d. Ecological mitigation works. e. Sewer works for storm water, ground water, TSE, foul sewer. f. Construction of road cross sectional elements including cross drains/ducts and any proposed utilities in the corridors under the road pavement. g. Manholes catch pits, gulley pots and gully connections. h. Backfill and earthworks to formation level. i. Pump Station and EFA pond. j. Kerbing and road pavement to underside of surfacing. k. Construction of verge cross-sectional elements (including parking bays). l. Surfacing, road signing and street lighting. m. Landscaping and irrigation. Roads Specialization Grade 1 or 2 or Sanitation Grade 1 - Road Grade-2 Contractor should propose a Sub contractor with Sanitation Grade-2 for their Sanitation works. - Sanitation Grade-1 Contractor should propose a Sub contractor with Roads classified Grade-1 for their Asphalt works.
