Description

The Project will be executed as a Design contract with the successful Bidder. The scope of the Project Works will consist of: 1. Design consultancy services to elaborate the initial sketches within the tender documents to full design/construction documents; this includes involving: All Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). 2. Landscaping design consultancy services 3. Obtaining all necessary Authority approvals and providing all necessary documents for it The design should be developed by the successful Bidder in close contact and discussion with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, allowing review and approval by them at the completion milestones of the various applicable design stages as per this RFP. The successful Bidder should provide the following sub-consultants to be included in his bid: 4. A general Qatar based qualified design consultant; to be qualified he needs to have the following outstanding design consultancy services within his company: o Excellent proven design consultancy services in inhouse architectural, structural and MEP Design and relevant experience within aquacultural consultancy an engineering in the last 5 years as company; and expertise embedded in the proposed staff assigned for the project o Excellent proven and accredited NFPA/QCDD knowledge, and experience with QCDD within the company; and expertise embedded in the proposed staff assigned for the project o Excellent proven knowledge, and experience with Authority applications (and all necessary required studies for them) and obtaining Authority approvals within the company; and expertise embedded in the proposed staff assigned for the project 5. Specialized design consultant(s) with proven knowledge and outstanding experience regarding: • Aquaculture systems and operations. • Fish biology and health. 6. One of the major Qatar based design/landscaping consultant for landscaping design of the landscaping as part of the Project Scope. Refer details in Project Brief.
