Description

The project area is located within Zone 95 in Al Wakra Municipality, adjacent to Al Majd Road approximately. This project is the roads surrounding Al Udeid Air Base The Scope of work includes construction of dual lane carriageway road to facilitate access to Al Udeid Air Base, along with three roundabout and associated infrastructure, within an approved 40 m Right of Way corridor. The proposed road will connect to the existing CD road of Al Majd Road from the east side, and with existing street number (203) in (zone 95) from the west side. The proposed infrastructure includes roads, street lighting, ITS, directional signs and drainage system to collect Surface Water along the proposed road. Provision of crossing ducts, protection & relocation of existing utilities, if required due to conflicts/overlap with the proposed roads and design of the any utilities as per the requirements of the respective stakeholders are included. All necessary approvals have been obtained from the stakeholders through Qatar Design Review System. Please note that a proposed Substations plot (PIN No. 81170007) and (95300017) falls within the project scope of works. The Contractor shall be responsible for the design and construction of the substation in accordance with the relevant stakeholder requirements and shall obtain all necessary approvals from the concerned authorities through the appropriate approval systems prior to implementation. Additionally, road maintenance works, such as resurfacing, will be carried out at the tie-in locations with existing roads. Refer to Attachment for more information.
