The work comprises of the Construction of property sewer extension and house connections together with the construction of the necessary sewer network pipe line to connect into the existing network all as described herein. The works are to be carried out to open plots, individual properties or group of properties at Al Muraikh Area.
The scope of works are as follows:
• Construction of 462 and 1453 linear meters of 300 mm & 200 mm dia. ESVC Pipe as Main Sewer Lines and 550 linear meters of 150 mm Dia. VC pipes for 44 nrs. of Open Plots & 4 nrs. of Houses at Al Muraikh Area in Doha.
• The work consists of construction of Manholes 38 nrs., Inspection Chambers 2 nr., Shallow Chambers 1nr., Shallow/Medium/Deep line connections 7 nrs., Ramp/Backdrop Connections 24 nrs to the new/exist manholes and demolition of septic tanks 4 nr. approximately.
• The above work also consists of Asphalt reinstatement of roads as per new code of practice & Specification for Road Openings, under which the contractor must lay the concrete SRC 20 in trench as backfill material within 1.0 meter from the Finished Road Level up to the bottom of Asphalt base course - phase I only.
The Contractor shall be required to pay charges for Traffic Department of Ministry of Interior as well as “ Excavation Permit” charges for Road Opening of Concerned Municipalities and these allowances should be reflected in the prices.
The actual quantities for whole of the Works are subject to re-measurement in accordance with Sub Clauses 55.1 and 55.2 of the Particular Conditions of Contract.
The Contractor shall construct, test, commission and maintain the whole of the Works in this Contract for 400 days after completion.
